Verify my account if my number and email changed.

Good morning Josef, thank you for responding; I have already expressed my problem. I want to delete my old email and old telephone number

so that I can log into my account. I can not find any options to change the email or the phone number which is needed for verification. I have

set up another account with my updated email and new phone number but there are still some accesses that are denied because of inability to

verify my account with the obsolete email and phone number. I would appreciate any assisstance that you might provide with this matter.

There are two separate spots for emails on your account. The first is your login name or Windows Live ID/Microsoft Account ID. That is what you use to log into your account. To change this, follow silentbob's instructions.

The second is your contact email, or where xbox sends notifications. To change this, click on the "My Account" in the upper right corner, and then on the bottom left click on billing contact information. It'll likely make you verify your account but then
you can update the name, number, address, and contact email attached to your account. (Calling support can help you change the number, address, or email but only if they can verify you using the existing information).

Without more info. it's hard to tell but it's possible that your account just needs to be verified. For a step by step guide to adding security contact information to your account, please visit

To verify your email and phone on account, log in to account.live.com and look for Security & Privacy, Change password and more. You should see your email address with an option to verify or send a code. Check your email for the code and return to enter
it on our site. This will verify the email address. Please do this for an email and phone number and you’re all set!

I've changed my email address and phone number without being locked out from my account. Maybe it is the way you did it, IIRC, I added my new contact info and verified them before removing the old ones. Have you tried going to the web site to check and/or
change your settings there?
