verify installed game without download the whole game again in Xbox app pc

I have installed the game on Xbox game pc ( Gamepass ) when I click on play nothing happens I found that the game missing 3 important files there are sizes around 70Mb one of them being the one that launches the game .exe file!

I have tried these steps

1- open add or remove programs then choose the installed game and go to the advanced option then click on repair after progress bar finished still didn't work

2- from the Xbox app when I choose ( verify & repair ) for the game it starts to download the whole game again !!

this issue I am facing with many games, not all games but these games that I have an issue with their size around 750Gb
I need a solution please because I have a limited internet data with 120Gb in the month and these games are a result of downloading for more than one year literally ........

Hi there Magdymoo welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. I suggest you try these basic troubleshooting steps!

Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

Click Check for Updates;

Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services.

Then try this:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

Then do the same for the Xbox app:

Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

If it still doesn't work you're going to uninstall the games services using a powershell command, then you're going to open the gamepass app, it will ask you to download and install the game services again :

In the windows search bar type Powershell > Right click and select open as administrator > Type the command: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers" > Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC, then open your Xbox gamepass app, it will ask you to install the gaming services again, install it and try again.

All launchers I have used have verification when I try to locate games & install missing files automatically like : ( steam & epic & Uplay )

This is not a logical thing, that when I change the Windows, I need to download my games again, This is the worst app I have ever dealt with it literally in my life and I am very regretful

Unfortunately, I have already done all of this except for the last step of PowerShell
I did it now and it didn't work, still the same problem

For your attention, I know the names of the missing files from every game with the same problem, but I tried copying files from another device, but they are protected from Microsoft and cannot be transferred. Is there a way to download them from Microsoft?

Do you have your drivers updated? I had this issue before and it got fixed after updating them!
