    Im a really stressed mum with a very unhappy 8 yr old, please help. After about an hour on live chat today we have worked out that the code i entered for my sons new xbox live gold account (or mine rather for him to play the only game he really wants to
    play) didnt entry correctly and that was the reason we couldnt connect to the game. Weve now entered the code and it asks for billing info, ok, fine, but its in state-zip code etc, i asked the live chat person who told me to enter anything and change it after
    as i had obviously set up an american account (god know how as i only set up an email and password). But ive tried to change billing info, which i have to enter the old info (the smerican stuff) which i obviously do not know. Help!!! Can anyone give me advice
    please, ive tried to redeem code on my tablet but it just gives me a white square with nowhere to go except back to the'redeem code'page, due to having dinner etc the live chat person has now left. Please help me redeem this stupid code!!! Thankyou.

    Did you check your Online Billing History? You can verify your your mailing address there.

    Xbox Won't accept my prepaid card

    Greetings, the issue is the credit card authorization is trying to verify the billing address. You should contact your credit card company and ask them for the billing address for the card, they will have this information. Enter that information as the
    billing address in your Xbox. It should go through then.

    Sorry to hear you're having issues. From what you've posted is sounds as though you now live in a different country. Is this accurate?

    If so, and you are attempting to use a currency or gold membership code then please be aware that they are region locked and can only be used for the region in which they were intended.

    If a phone support agent told you to put in any information into the billing area then you were incorrectly informed. You should always put in the info that is accurate and up to date.

    I would definitely recommend contacting phone support again to get this rectified. Click the link below to get the number for your region

    Cant authorize the selected payment option...

    The Paypal account is linked to a bank account and is activated, verified, confirmed, etc etc. The billing address matches the billing address on my xbox account.

    I don't know what more i can do.

    Hey guys! To add onto CloudStrife, I would also verify your billing address on Xbox LIVE matches the billing address on your method of payment. If that looks good, I would suggest you update your security proofs on your Microsoft Account.
