the download speeds will vary from user to user. i had a similar situation though at launch when i had all the launch games queued up. it was crazy. none of the games download as fast as i'd like and some even slower.

but that's why i love remote downloading. i queue the games up when i'm at work or somewhere else and that way i don't have to even worry about it when i get home. some of them are still downloading when i get home because let's face it .. they're huge
now. Halo MCC is over 60GB alone!

these games are big. i can generally download a 15-20 GB game in a reasonable amount of time under an hour .. but above that it's a toss up.

    :)

Who now find themselfs have more xbox time withe one then the 360?

Lately I have been using my Xbox One for Halo MCC, minecraft and DVDs. I played on the 360 only outta frustration due to MCC multiplayer at the time. A friend and I went back and played halo 3 and halo reach for a few games but realised both games were worse
with a large amount of lag with facing people in other countries. Reach was the worst. There a few games on 360 that I wouldn't mind going back and playing.

I understand, but I can see more point in the MCC as it's a build up to Halo 5, with the inclusion of the Halo 5 MP beta access and Nightfall.

Most of the rest, GTA V included, are pretty much rehashing just for sake of it.

It's frustrating as more effort seems to be going into these than creating new titles.

meh, mine took about an hour to download cod aw and hmcc.

All these 'issues' you raise could've been researched beforehand though matey and might have meant you had a little more realistic expectations?

I hope your situation improves though as i would be *** too if i'd bought it and was unable to play anything!

    @konamicode2000

A couple weeks ago I tried to DL the MCC and it was taking too long. Come to find out my NAT magically changed from open to moderate. So I unistalled what little had DL'ed and did a system reset . I then made sure my NAT was open and started the DL of MCC
again and it worked perfectly over night. I don't even have very fast internet.

  6. I appreciate the thoughtful responses (and have ignored the ones that are less so). I've definitely troubleshooter to confirm NAT and general network settings, and everything's on the up and up. And yes, my internet is plenty fast (is that the "whose is
bigger" for the Internet age? Venting My Frustrations with Xbox One and Halo: MCC :) ).

Like I said, this is me venting. I don't think I should have to adjust my expectations. I'm the consumer, I just dropped $600 to have a great experience, and I haven't had that because MS was woefully unprepared for what it knew was going to be a huge launch
    day.

But yes, lesson learned. I'll now wait for other people to purchase games and work out the bugs before I buy...if I but at all. That's a pretty poor way to perceive the Xbox brand.

The Xbox One is far from perfect. The UI is clunky and the OS is buggy and glitchy. It will freeze on you often. Sorry, but you should have spent that money on a PS4. It's got a better and prettier UI and it will never go down on you. And the download speeds
on PS4 are faster as well. See if you can get a refund.

  10. Konami, i feel your exact fustration! I just bought the ac bundle as well on friday actually and so far i have also debated about returning it. Im trying to give a chance because i have always loved xbox. But the xbox one to me is a piece of you know what.
I hate the fact it gives you achievments for apps. Its absurd. And for something to pop up and say your game is ready play when its not is just infuriating. I hate that everything needs installed, and takes so ****ing long. And i just tried to delete a free
game i played just till the release of ac and halo. And the only option there is is to delete All saved games. Do you have any idea how many i start games over for various reasons. So all the saved game progress in ki is going to be erased because i want to
delete volgor the free dl. Omfg. Can i cry now! Also to me the graphics havent improved much, the headset sux. All in alll the 360 is still the best, im glad i still have it and my game collection for it. So if there is anyone out there wanting the xbox one,
my advice to you is keep your 360!!! I cant stress that enough.

The days of 20mb updates ala xbox 360 days are long gone, for either of the two next gen consoles. So if you are still on dial up internet, don't upgrade!

I guess you could say that I'm pretty frustrated about the multiplayer side of things myself. I've only been able to play one halo 3 match and 4 halo 2 classic games. Wait times for getting into games have been somewhat getting better for me but not by
    much.

I bought this game not only to experience every single campaign game and and the best multiplayer but to get to experience halo 2 'classic' for the first time! I was only ten years old when I got halo 2 and I wasn't ever able to get near multiplayer until
about 2010 (when the servers shut down) but I'm happy to have played those 4 games because they were so fun Venting My Frustrations with Xbox One and Halo: MCC :) I just hope they fix up the issues A lot more by tomorrow morning.

honestly I'm not too surprised by the multiplayer issues but I can see them getting fixed really soon! I hope to see you all on halo tomorrow and hopefully it gets fixed! Add me if you wanna play custom games or whatever you want to do

Hey OP, I'm sorry some people assume it's your internet and nothing else. My experience with MS and cable is generally very fast, It's only slow when half of the globe is downloading the same thing.

May I suggest getting larger games like Forza 5 Halo MCC etc on disc. That's an advantage with retail disc versions. Especially if you only have ADSL Broadband speeds and a monthly data limit cap on your internet plan. Sure Xbox Live servers ARE going to
be BUSY just like Youtube servers are busy. Because lots of peps participate on them, and Halo MCC is a big game for Xbox you were probably trying to get it when everyone also, was trying to download Halo MCC stuff.

I pre-ordered the Halo MCC from EB Games NZ and with EB Games you get an exclusive deal with pre-ordering, you get a code which unlocks the bandana skull and some other skull for use in the CE Campaign, and it really helps (infinite amo with bandana skull).
When I got home on Tuesday it only took me 3 hours, to install the disc and download the 15GB Update at my home. We have ADSL too and it's 11mb down and 0.9mb up. I've got 4 achievements already for it.

And I've got about 5 friends from Xbox 360 who just got an Xbox 1 console this week. Why? Because Halo MCC is BIG! It's one of the biggest things Xbox is known for.... HALO. If you want really smooth XBL connection, ask your family for Fibre Optic Broadband
minimum 50mb down and minimum 10mb upload speed, per second. And if you choose to install Halo MCC onto an external HDD rather than your consoles HDD, make sure it's a good external HDD.
