Venting, I'm sorry. I'm extremely frustrated

I recently put my xbox one to service under manufacturers warrenty. The Blu ray drive after months of issues finally gave out (not my fault). I reached out to microsoft and I was given the option to send the unit out for repair, however I was not offered
the advanced repair option (not my fault). The process seemed like it had the potential to be very quick my console was repaired quite rapidly. Now my console is in limbo because microsoft apparently has not shipped it yet after a week (my assumption this
has not been stated by microsoft, but they haven't given me information to the contrary. Yes I have mentioned this during my conversations. They don't know).I have a background in electronics repair(stated for relevance not for bragging rights). To me this
is insane. You fixed the product but it can take up to 18 business days to ship back? Either you have a backlog of broken xbox ones (which is a really bad sign) or you just don't really care that much about your customer. I talked to several xbox customer
service agents and they were very friendly and nice, I know its not there fault and I don't have the heart to take my frustration out in someone who has nothing to do with the process. But this is infuriating I keep calling back and am told wait a couple more
days over and over my tracking number still doesn't work after a week and the delivery provider says they have nothing in the system for my address so more than likely my xbox is sitting in the corner collecting dust for lord knows why. Even if the delivery
truck came once a week it should be on route within a week!?!?!? Are there that many broken xbox's? I'm sorry to whoever may be reading this this is not an attack on the company and this may certainly not be the average example of Microsofts repair service,
it's just a very very frustrated customer who would like to see someone explain why this process is so frustrating and why no one at Microsoft seems to think that this is hugely inconvenient to me and see that at some point this could have been a good experience
and it just failed on multiple levels.

The case review i sent wasn't what i meant to say i meant to say that i would avoid using inappropriate communication with anyone so i could continue to play with my friend's , and other people that requires teamwork or more players. I hope that this changes
my recent case review and that sorry for my past activities and that i get to talk to my friends tomorrow so i can do the raid or shorten the time. I was going to reply to the message Xbox sent me but i couldn't because of the ban. Anyway i hope that you
read this and reply to if not , unban so i can talk to my friends , or shorten.

 

I'm getting frustrated with the replacement process too. My xbox one was sent away 2 weeks ago (after having to cancel my original request because I didn't get a shipping email, waiting 24 hours and placing a new request to get a consignment number) and
just yesterday I found out it was sent to the wrong address. I found out this because a random shoe store in Sydney rang me to let me know they have my xbox. So after spending an hour on the phone to customer support the solution they came up with was to get
my xbox returned to my address by the shoe store and then I can ring back again and request a new consignment number. I can't believe it took an hour to come up with that solution!!

So needless to say I'm very frustrated, unimpressed and honestly concerned about whether il ever get my xbox fixed... Or even returned for that matter!! (If anyone has any suggestions for what I should do please let me know by the way)

 

Hi there my suggestion would be to take a step back collect yourself and let microsoft and the delivery company figure it out just stay on top of it

 

At this point I have let custimer service handle my issue but I am extremely disappointed in the xbox one repair process however everyone I spoke too was extremely nice and wanted so bad to find a solution to my issue so no complaints theelre people do care.
The process just sucks and the circumstances I am under suck. I honestly feel compensation is in order because everyone I spoke with just made me feel like they really cared. I can't take my anguish out on them they are good people like themselves. But they
are part of a process that sucks and it makes NO SENSE for Microsoft to put them through that because I'm sure they are first line in the getting cussed out lane. So for the people you hired microsoft I will suck it up and just be patient, but to you microsoft
I am giving you a HUGE thumbs down for lack of a better word. Your process is awful and you jus let your people deal with it. That to me is one of the most disrespectful things I've ever seen. I won't complain any more but I will remember this and tell people
about the time microsoft let me down.
