Vbucks not showing up on Xbox one

I redeemed 2 seperate Vbuck gift cards (totalling 2000) 36 hours ago. Followed all the instructions including claiming the secobdary code in microsoft. They are still not showing up on fortnite on our xbox one. Is there a delay typically or are the lost?
Please help. Thank you.

Yes, I made sure that when i redeem with Microsoft, that it was linked to the correct xbox account.

When you say that they are "not showing up on fortnite on our Xbox One" it leads me to a question. Did you redeem these codes on the account that is trying to use them. The V-bucks would be tied to an account, not an Xbox console.

I'm sorry you have this problem, researching on the internet I was able to find that in the forum, the independent advisor Sodangidni, recommends the following steps for a solution.

According to the following Epic Games article, "If you purchased V-Bucks through the Microsoft or PlayStation Store, you must log in to Fortnite on the relevant platform to receive them before accessing them on all other shared wallet platforms."

May I know if vbucks are available when you open Fortnite through cloud gaming, or do they not appear there as well?

If that is correct and if vbucks are not showing up on PC despite having your accounts connected, I suggest you contact Epic Games support for further assistance.

It will show the purchase amount that was used on the account.

The VBucks should show up under the allowed account.

When did this purchase was made? Some add-ons can take up to 72 hours to show up! But I recommend the following:

Open the Xbox Guide by pressing the guide button on the controller and select

Settings.

Select Network Settings.

Select Advanced Settings.

Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address.

Select Clear.

Allow the console to restart when prompted.
