Vbuck purchase failed, but I was billed

Thanks for bring this to us, I would recommend that you reply back to the email that you received informing you
on the decision of the refund department, so you can further dispute this there.

If there was a purchase made but no item has been received please check that the item was purchased on the correct
account, this can be verified by viewing the correct accounts order history. Here's an article on how to do so:

If the charge is there, then there could be an issue with the item being licensed to the account, do use the:

to get in touch with an agent for additional troubleshooting and to verify the purchase.

possible fixes or notices of issues like this one occurring on the developers side.

Currently purchased Vbucks do not transfer to other platforms.

For example, you can not use the Vbucks on PC if you purchased them on Xbox.

However, the in-game items you spend your Vbucks on DO transfer.

• Vbucks CAN NOT be transferred to any other platform than the one you purchased them on.
• Vbucks earned from the Battlepass DO transfer.
• Vbucks earned from Save the World DO transfer.
• Items purchased with Vbucks DO transfer.

In a nutshell, Vbucks that you Purchase CAN NOT be transferred. Vbucks that you Earn CAN be transferred. I hope this info can help you.

Thank you for reaching out to the forums, when you completed the purchase a few weeks ago were the Vbucks added to your account or did you never see them? If anybody else plays Fortnite on your account is is possible the vbucks may have been used as well.

Take a look at your accounts
Purchase History as well and confirm that the purchase is completed, if the purchase has gone through but you do not have your v-bucks then you will need to reach out to Epic Games for further assistance.

Items (in this case, VBucks for Fortnite) can not be moved between accounts. You could ask for a refund here:

You should have bought the gift card as a gift and have it sent to his gamertag or email in the gift option instead of Purchase. Or you could buy a gift card at a store and have him enter the code while logged into his account on his xbox or on xbox.com
and then have his account buy the item. And another way to do this is to log into his account on xbox.com and add your credit card to his account to purchase the VBucks and then remove your payment method from his account so he can't purchase things unauthorized.

1. To add a payment method to his account first log into it on xbox.com and go here:

https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments And add it to the account.

2. Purchase the item (VBucks, in this case I believe) and then go back to that page

https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments And remove the payment method from the account after the purchase is finalized.
