    Vault edition upgrade not working


    I’m trying to upgrade to the vault edition for modern warfare 2, and whenever I try to purchase it I get the try again error or something went wrong. I can purchase everything else but this upgrade and I’ve been trying since last night. I got to the purchase screen once and tried switching the card just to get another error. I’ve already updated my store, reset, everything. I would be upset if I don’t get this because the discount lasts through today. Does anyone know what is wrong?

    So I purchase. The modern warfare 3 upgraded version, but I don't have modern warfare, 3 do I need modern warfare 3 to be upgraded like I only have war zone, so do I need the modern warfare 3?

    Yes you would need to purchase the digital crossplay version of mw3 in order for the vault edition upgrade to work.

    The vault edition upgrade simply upgrades the digital crossplay version of mw3 to the vault edition.

    If i cant access my dlc content from call of duty mw3 would i call Activision or is that a mircosoft end. Its for a friend.

    If it is concerning vault upgrade (not the full vault edition)

    You MUST BUY THE full game gamesharing won't work with vault upgeade you MUST OWN the base game digirally

    If you have a disk vault wont work

    I have brought the vault edition and it is saying that I own it but it not giving me the stuff for MW3

    why is this happening can someone please help me
    To confirm, was it the vault edition ($100 USD if in the US) or the vault edition upgrade ($30 USD if in the US).

    If it was simply the upgrade, then do you also already own the digital crossplay version of MW3 on your own account? If you dont (either someone is gamesharing it to you or you have it physically on disc) then the vault edition upgrade wont work for you.

    You bought the Vault Edition Upgrade which is an add-on for the standard edition. The actual Vault edition that includes the game is $100.

    The 30 bucks version is just the upgrade to the vault edition, which you need the game first. It doesn't install anythng, it just upgrades the standard version to the Vault edition.
