Various Games Not Working On Game Pass

I just got an Xbox One S yesterday, and immediately activated both my Xbox Live subscription and Game Pass. Everything seemed like it was going fine, until I installed Hitman through Game Pass. It didn't matter if I uninstalled, reinstalled, hard restarted,
hard reset, tried an obscure method involving clearing my alternate MAC address, removed my account and logged back in, or attempted to update. When I start this game, I see the Hitman loading screen for a very short period of time followed by black and the
Xbox occasionally connecting and disconnecting from my TV. It won't respond to controller input until I shut down the Xbox. This same issue has occurred with Elder Scrolls Online and Forza Horizon 4 on Game Pass. Interestingly, Rocket League, Dirt 4 and Wolfenstein,
also all part of Game Pass, did work. I'm not entirely sure, but it seems to be that if the game is somewhere above about 22 GB or so, then it refuses to launch. The launching issue with Hitman, loading for a few seconds followed by a black screen and the
Xbox connecting and disconnecting, is exactly the same for each of the games I've listed with a problem.

I have the game pass and I know sea of thieves is included in it but when I just go into it, it doesn’t say free with game pass and only gives me the option to buy it and it doesn’t say download for free with the game pass please help because I have wasted my
money if I can’t get it

I am having the exact same problem. I have removed my profile and I have power cycled my xbox one and router buts it's still the same. Any fix on this yet?

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. It looks like most of the account troubleshooting steps have been taken. We recommend attempting a soft factory reset. This type of factory reset will keep your games and applications installed, but will
remove all accounts from the console. The
steps for the soft factory reset will be listed in the article we linked. Be sure to let us know the results!

 

Just did a soft factory reset and I still can't load the games. The issue itself has not changed.

That definitely seems like an odd issue seeing that you just got the Xbox yesterday and the factory reset didn't help.

The Xbox's power supply can be the cause for some of these issues.

By any chance do you plug in the Xbox into a surge protector, or directly into the wall for the power?

Have you also tried it on a different TV or tried all of the HDMI ports?

Just found out what the issue was! I did have my Xbox plugged into a surge protector, but plugging it into the outlet didn't help. I've already attempted a few power cycles as well. The issue was that I was using an HDMI switch to connect my Xbox to my
TV, and when I directly connected it to the TV, I was able to see the game. Thanks!
