Various games and error code 0x80831002

I had this issue with my Project Scorpio edition. Bad internal drive had to have it swapped for a newer non-scorpio unit.

Either bad O/S patchs going out or bad internal hard drives. I'm going to go with bad internal drive since I'm not having these issues on the new system.

Sadly only had the system for a few weeks where as my bad internal drive took a good month to pop up. Hoping the standard editions don't have these problems.

• Scroll down, Click on Contact Us

Try this out and let us know the results.

Well this problem stinks, I've done the Reset and the full shutdown while also turning off instant-on mode temporary fixes all though. Seems that even the summer X units are still affected.

UPDATE.... issue seems resolved (for now) by doing a factory reset of the X1X. Settings > All Settings > System > Console Info > Reset console. You can opt to NOT delete games and apps, but it clears out your login details and saves... which are recovered
once you go thru set up again.

Sorry you continuously get the E error codes. We recommend doing an
offline update at this point. If you still continue to get these errors after the offline update, you might want to look into getting a repair. If you decide on a repair you can go to

device support.
