I have almost 300.00 in gifted games to gamertags. I believe ive been hacked and made all changes to my account to stop the charges. What can i do to recover the money?

DLC Not Useable by Family members?

After downloading several content packages for various games under my gamertag, specifically Mass Effect 2, I purchased a Family Gold pack. However, when another member logs in to play Mass Effect 2, they are being prompted to repurchase the DLC. Do I
need to repurchase the DLC under their gamertag?

What do you mean? You can buy a game for someone meaning I pay $60 and only my friend gets it because I had gifted it to him.

The way it works on Steam is you have an option when you purchase to purchase the title for yourself or to gift it. My guess is you'll just select gift and select a player from your friends list or enter their gamertag manually. The gifting game function on steam never has your account touch the game beyond the purchase.

I would contact customer support and request a refund. Also do a security check on your Microsoft account. Update all your information.

This way your account is locked till they finish the investigation and resecure it

If you are gamesharing with someone you dont know you better stop it thats usually how your accounr gets compromised

-Locate your Device ID and console serial number if possible as Xbox Support might need this information. For more information on locating these, see

this guide.

-Go through the steps in the following
guide regarding potentially hacked/compromised accounts as well.

As far as i know, if you've already done the purchase, its linked to your account. Not all games are gift-able, but the ones that are, you'll have an option under the purchase section to gift. im not sure you can gift after you've already purchased.
