Various errors including crashes when syncing cloud save games on Xbox One X

It sounds like the game may not have been saved to the cloud on your original Xbox. Then when you played on the One X it created a cloud save file of the new game.

Then when you signed back into your One and said you played on another Xbox it may have synced that cloud save from the One X and overwritten what you had saved to the original One.

Were you signed in and connected to the internet at all times on the original Xbox One?

You will not lose your games saves when you upgrade to the Xbox One X from Xbox One as your game saves are stored on the Cloud.

You don't have to transfer game saves from the Xbox One to the Xbox One X.

They (game saves) will sync once your console (Xbox One X) is connect to the internet.

The Xbox One automatically saves games to the cloud while you are connected to the internet. Game progress will be saved in the cloud storage of the account currently logged in.

It's known as an md5 error. One potential safeguard is, when you get the regular crash, before launching the game again clear your local save data from the console. When you launch the game it will sync your cloud save and replace it. Many have reported no problems since doing this but it's not 100%.

Just to make sue I understand...Are you connected online?

The Xbox One will automatically sync your saves to the cloud unless you're not online...with the latest save.

Per the link below or in your own words....what happened to the save?

-Error: “We couldn’t sync your info with the cloud.”

-Error: “Your other Xbox is taking a long time to sync to the cloud.”

-Message: “Which one do you want to use?”

-Error: ”We can’t save additional info for…”
