    Hey all,

    I promise this won't become a rant. I keep telling myself that.

    Where to start?

    I got my xBox One X when it released. Yay, first console (been a PC Gamer my whole life)!

    It started after a week or two, that sometimes my console had corrupted save-games. Cloud-saving rescued me several times here.

    Anyways, it got worse with time: Freezing games, stuttering & freezing overlay/menu, console unwilling to shut down completely (it didn't show anything, but the light and the fan were still on, even after 10/15 minutes), etc. If been guessing a faulty hardware
    since this.

    At the point it got that bad, I reached out for the support. I don't know if it is any better with the english support, but the german one is terrible. They were not even really reading my messages at first. Then, they provided me a link to the factory reset
    guidance, and - in case that didnt help - a link for the Offline System Update Tool. My bad, I did not find these myself. Done that, console started, working just fine.

    FOR A FEW DAYS. The problems started to occur again, although this time getting worse much faster (like within one/two weeks).

    So? I reached out for the support, again. Did I mention that the support is annoyingly terrible when it comes to reading my f**** texts?

    We/they concluded that they cannot do anything anymore, that it is time (TO STOP, lol) to sent it in. Remember that faulty hardware part? I had hope.

    They received the console, .... and sent it back just a day later, annotation: "same-unit-repair". Wow, these guys are fast! It was only a week between sending it in and getting it back, nice!

    The box had a letter in it, saying that they "performed extensive hardware-checks and reset the software". Wait... So they checked, found nothing, and did something I already did before?? Well okay, let's give it a try.

    Apparently, they did a harder reset than for me possible, since when I started AC, it mentioned that I have cloud-save on another xBox. I was relieved they did more than I initially thought they did.

    I had a random crash relatively early, but I decided to mark that as a technical hiccup - who knows what the console does in the background after the first start, invisible for the user? Error E105 again (hi, old friend), but a offline update fixed it.

    It was all fine after that (apart from some interface bugs & lags) until today. I started to download Dishonored 2, Dishonored Definitive Edition and Dishonored Death of the Outsider. But after a minute or so, the "installations stopped". Because of....
    reasons? I resumed them, but they stopped immediately. So, I took a deep - annoyed - breath, canceled them and restarted my console.

    OR AT LEAST I THINK I DID. ("no rant, remember, no rant."). The console decided not to shut down, just as described earlier. If there was a tilt level, I was slowly reaching it. Error E105 when starting up, "hi again!" (*mumbles
    "bastard" under his breath*)
    . Soooooo time for another offline system update.

    Excuse me, what? Okay, let's power cycle that piece of junk and try that again.

    Okay. **** it, they have cloud-save - I reset this whole xBox, "remove everything".

    Let's just check if it boots up now, right?

    I can't get this ofgiuaebsgdhssssfbkleasn Console to start anymore. I tried everything I know by now over the last 1.5ish hours; nothing. Startup gives E102.

    Does anyone here knows help? I am really starting to get desperate. I will contact the support tomorrow, but forgive me having little hope in that.

    Your network is behind port restricted NAT

    Does your NAT actually say STRICT or MODERATE when you run network test or are you going by the advanced test where it'll say open but also give an error code for port restricted NAT. If its the later, you'll get that error code when you hook to a router because the router is handling your NAT and x1 sees it as a filter, even though its not really filtering your necessary ports for Xbox live. If its the former, yea, you need to see Xbox forums as xstasis recommends.

    Help Error 0x8DD000F, cannot connect to wifi

    I keep getting the above error code when trying to connect Xbox one S to Wi-Fi, I've been through the various shut down and reboot routines for Xbox and router in the past hour and a half but no joy. The only way I can get an online
    connection is by LAN cable direct into wireless router. I have Wi-Fi signal tested the room where the Xbox is located and no problems there, all other devices in the area are working correctly.

    Hope someone here can help, the online support has gone full circle

    Sounds like for whatever reason they found no issues but the internal hard drive is borked.

    I had to exchange my console for a new one. No problems *knock on wood*.

    I had the SAME issues you had outside of crazy errors (installation failing, saves wouldn't sync) so assuming just a bad internal drive.

    They have to replace the internal drive or the whole console. Whatever works for them.

    Luckily (at least in the US) you have 90 days for a refurb. Since it was time consuming for you to ship it back and what not I'd ask for at least some xbox live compensation for not having the system and driving around.

    The WiFi is perfect on other devices, plus when I test my connection from the Xbox it stays at 42 ping and 0% packet loss despite the error codes for connection issues

    Hi Joshua,

    sorry to hear.

    You see the following error code and message when you’re downloading an Xbox 360 console software update:

    Can't download the update. To test your connection, open System Settings and select Network Settings, Test Xbox Live Connection.

    Status code: d0000034
    This may mean that there’s a network issue, insufficient space on your storage device, a problem with the storage device, or a problem with the system Cache.
