Discus and support Various black screen in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Hi, for some reason i don't know my xb went on black screen only on connection check and on the mapping of my controller, what can i do?     I can't stand the new forums

    Agree 100%. I shouldn't have to navigate various screens and drop down menus for a game as popular as black ops. User unfriendly!

    For the people playing the digital version ...

    Have you had any issues with freezing? I ask because I plan to download it but read on various sites a few that have the digital complain of freezing and a constant black screen?

    I has no optical so direct Xbox -> TV using the HDMI high speed with Ethernet cable and setting stereo audio. I has noticed an improve. A black screen flash I think is signal of sync, if we have various or delayed it can be because sync problems.

    The results, when connecting to:

    - Xbox ->(stock cable) ->A/V receiver -> (HDMI high speed) -> TV: 1 black screen flash within 10 seconds of power on.

    - Xbox -> (HDMI high speed cable) -> TV: 1 black screen flash within 1 minute.

    - Xbox -> (stock cable) -> TV: multiple black screen flashes within 10 minutes.

    The results are good at least for my TV (Philips), because within 1 minute I am loading the game/App yet, or maybe on dashboard.

    hey stud! after fiddling with various things and looking up the real equipment with comcast, i figured out i have a scientific atlantic rng200dvr. while the xbox one does communicate with the stb (it shows the menu on the screen and if i hit rewind it shows
    rewind on the stb or if i hit play it shows play on the stb), it doesn't show the picture (just a black screen). any new suggestions to get the picture to show?
