Variable download speeds causing issues

For about the last week now I have been having this issue where my download speeds are running from 3 Mbps to my normal 47 Mbps. It isn't my internet either as i am not having any issues with any other devices "spiking." Playing anything online is *** near
impossible due to the lag and rubber banding. I've tried almost everything to change things up to see if that would change anything with no luck. Any ideas?

Xbox one max download speed caps at 50Mbps

As stated earlier I am connected directly to the modem via an Ethernet cable so I don't see how any wifi related issues would be causing a problem with my max download speed

What's your internet speed? The combination of the huge size of this update and the well known downloading/installing issues of the Xbox One can cause many hours of waiting for this to be installed.

Okay, go to internet, advanced settings, down to Alternate MAC address, do it 3 times and it should fix it

There are so many variables to download speeds you cant really say one thing will fix it. I know my speeds fluctuate alot

There is no official infos about Microsoft Store speed limit (if exist any), you can simply use a cable and run a couple of test download to see if you get better speed, but remember that donwload speed from Store is variable due to the
other users downloading other stuff.

Consider that not all servers have same load, the donwload speed have multiple variables, maybe when you are downloading Monster Hunter other people are download/updating other games hosted on the same server group, maybe later on the same day the speed
will be higher...

This one is a tricky issue because there are a lot of variables involved but perhaps something with the download speeds interferes with the wireless on the Xbox One? Other than try a new headset I would say just make sure you aren't downloading things
while you are playing and keep the console in instant on mode.
