vanguard cross gen upgrade

hello i have bought cod vanguard standard edition, then few days later the upgrade to cross gen for 9.99, however the only thing that changed is that now i have an add on to the base game called (cross gen bundle upgrade) installed but when i bought the upgrade, in the item description it said that it would unlock the cross gen from the store which it didnt, am i missing something ??

In the Xbox store, under "works with" there is the series x/s version, and after clicking on that and exploring you will be able to install.

This will work as an add-on for your game, I believe you are on Xbox Series S/X, when you buy it automatically the add-on download will start, this add-on will only work if you are on Xbox Series, since the version you have previously purchased is already the old generation Xbox One version.

I’m trying to get the latest optimized version of vanguard with my last gen disc as that’s the one I bought for the cross gen option of the game

Solution 1:

Step 1. Press and hold the Xbox button on the console for at least 10 seconds to open the Power center.

Step 2. Then unplug the power supply from your console and wait for 3 minutes.

Step 3. Plug the power supply back into the Xbox console.

Step 4. Press the Xbox button on the console to turn it on again.

Solution 2:

Press the Xbox button.

Open Settings.

Go to Network and select Network settings.

Select Advanced settings.

Select Alternate MAC Address.

Select Clear.

Select Restart.

Solution 3:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm.

Restart your console and add the account again.

It shows I own the game and even though I own the cross gen I’ve bought the cross gen upgrade to but it still asks me to purchase it .
