Vanguard Armory Early Access not working??

I have tried just about everything and nothing seems to work. I cleared my cache, re downloaded my profile, restarted my Xbox, so on and so forth. and still nothing. has this happened to anyone with destiny or is it just me?

Medevac, the LE comes with early access to a few weapons in the vanguard armory.

You can get the Vanguard armory stuff eventually the pre-order bonus is only early access.

So it seems you have to purchase them still through the Quartermaster. (i.e. the Vanguard Armory stuff won't already be in your storage) There is a level 5 minimum to purchase but they are fairly strong weapons to start out with. Let me know if you guys
checked out the QM.

So I redeemed the code on my computer using the xbox website and using the account associated with my xbox live account, and it accepted the unlock code for the vanguard armory. I get into the game, grind it up to level 5, go to the tower, and talk to the
vanguard quartermaster. There are supposed to be 4 sub menu type things on the QM's menu, and the top one should be vanguard armory. It is not showing on my game though, I only see the normal 3 options. I then tried to redeem the code using my xbox, and it
said the code has already been redeemed. I went to downloads and recent on my xbox and neither have anything that will help. Any advice?

Did you guys not read what I posted? go to tower hanger and talk to vanguard quartermaster.... you can buy the weapons, they cost 250 glimmer each, but the weapons are trash once you get to level 7 or so.

 

Figured it out, have to go into xbox dashboard menu, go all the way right to account, then settings, and there will be add on or download history there in the short menu. The Vanguard Armory is considered a game add-on and you have to download it, but it's
only 108 kb. Once that's installed, go to the tower, then talk to the vanguard quartermaster and he should have the stuff you want! Also of note, this equipment is NOT garbage, when you hit level 10 it all levels up to 10 with you, and the same thing happens
at level 15, so don't dismantle it until you're done with it. Hope this helps!

You can just re-buy the stuff if you dismantle it. What I have figured out is an uncommon weapon or armor that is a 50 is stronger than a stock 60. @Jude Valentine

As to sparrow, It will unlock during I think the 3rd story mission.
