Van Helsing

It sounds like downloading free games is beneath some people. For some reason my XB1 downloads these games without my say so, therefore I delete most of them but not all. Van Helsing looks quite good tbf, very Diablo-esque and I thoroughly enjoyed Diablo
III. It'll have to keep though because a little game called Fallout 4 is taking up ALL my gaming time!!!

 

Is it hard because of lack of understanding or hard because of difficulty? Say you've never played Diablo, what to expect?

 

There's a far bit to take in early on with all the different ability's & sometimes the game doesn't explain it properly but that may just of been me,i was playing at 4:30am so was half dead at the time.

Once you get going though it's quite fun,seems like plenty to do.

 

It might be free but then so was Guacamelee.

There's too many new real games to play rather than foible with free fodder.

 

Guacamelee was critically acclaimed across the board and everyone I know who played it raved about it and said the gaming was excellent. Not my cup of tea but free doesn't equal poor quality.

 

I would never have looked at Valiant Hearts but ended up really enjoying that , if its free why not try it?? You may end up pleasantly surprised if not delete it you've not lost anything except a bit of your time !!

Some times common sense just doesn't prevail !

 

^ Same with Valiant Hearts, great game I need to finish and wouldn't have played it if not for GWG.

 

Guacamelee was an excellent game. downloaded for the sake of it and extremely glad i did.

 

I played Valiant Hearts when it was released, brilliant game. Glad others got the chance to experience it.

 

I'm in the middle of a second playthroug of Valiant Hearts, first playthrough was on ps4 when it was free there & now on my x1. So getting to try out games with both ps+ & Gold is awesome, so I really don't see why people don't try out these games.

I stopped playing Diablo 3 vanilla because I moved on to Destiny. Now, I am resuming my mission to reach Paragaon Level 100.

With all due respect to the Van Helsing game, I would rather earn paragon levels for Princess Mia (Sorceress) than play Van Helsing.

I am not bashing the game (Van Helsing), but between Diablo 3 and Destiny, finding time to play other games is kind of difficult LOL

not tried diablo but will pick it up but in the meantime this sounds

I dig it, one of the better GWG games so far.

Definitely a Diablo rip but I loved Diablo 3 so that okay

Reminds me of Path of Exile another game like this that the difficulty spikes very quickly lol.

 

Don't really know it got to 60% downloaded then stopped and started several times in a never ending loop so I cancelled the download.
