Value of Gems Again

So i recieved a genric response to my original post about xbox ripping us of with the microsoft rewards merger.

"We update the vault with new items and restocking popular ones on a regular basis, so be sure to check back often!"

A copy and paste answer is not acceptable.

My questions are:

Whyy are the 10000 and 5000 points out of stock as a digital item?

Will microsoft/xbox honour the true valuation of gems when the merger happens?

A gem is worth 20 points right now but only becomes worth 1 point when we switch to microsoft rewards.

This is my 5th time contacting xbox about this. I keep getting generic answer or told to come here. So a final question. If im unsatisifed with an answer i have recieved here who do i go to next?

Value of Gems?

Id like to know why a digital reward is out of stock in MyVault. Specifically the 10000 and 5000 points.

With the upcoming merger to microsoft rewards where 1 point (xbox) equals 1 point (microsoft) and 1 gem (xbox) equals 1 point (microsoft) id like to redeem my gems now for 15000 points now instead of 750 points.

So why are these rewards unavaliable and why are Gems taking such a huge devaluation?

Yeah, that c&p "answer" ticked me right off. Especially when I saw they were doing the same thing on twitter. So, I copied and pasted it on a few posts ahead of them, hoping that it'd shame them into posting an actual reply to people's concerns. Nope. They
just went ahead and did the same crap. And you know what really ticked me off? When I realized that they copied it from the FAQ. Can't even be bothered to write their own crap replies to copy and paste.

 

i will nore than likely get the same c&p answer again and when i do i shall create another post and keeping doing it till i get a reasonable answer. Problem is, i see no reason they refuse to value our gems properly apart from screwing us all over.

Credits have an associated, real currency value. As a promotional program managed by Microsoft, the Xbox Live Rewards program has a limited annual budget. This means that even though this is a digital, "fake" currency as users assume, all Rewards Credits
are backed by a real currency. This is how we are able to deposit Credits as currency, as Credits have a real currency value, and these Credits are not infinite. While users like to assume since this program is run by Microsoft, our program has an infinite,
billion dollar budget, that is not the case. If we were to award an infinite amount of Credits from the vault, our program would run out of budget and not be able to Reward on any of the offers on the MyMissions page or from payback on MyVIP. This is why we
rotate different prizes through the vault beyond just Rewards Credits, and Rewards Credits are not a part of every re-stock rotation.

Gems have a value of one credit. Gems do not have a currency value, and were a brand new promotional currency added as we tested out the new Vault/MyChallenges system. They can only be redeemed for prizes from the vault. Since we recognize that users have
grown attached to their Gems, we have assigned them a value of one Microsoft Point or Rewards Credit. But as a purely promotional type of currency, they have no associated real currency value. This is why prizes in the vault tiers can and do have different
retail values; there is no "1:1 ratio" for Gems.
