Validate Microsoft ID

Hi, My son has been playing xbox now for a while, he has a child account, but the last 24 hours it has been asking him to verify his Microsoft ID, it gives me the option as a parent to do this for him by adding my Debit card details and paying 50 cents (even
though i am in the UK) but i have added my card details and as soon as its been added and we try to get to the page to make the payment it loops back to verify your ID page again, it happens every time he logs off, this is really annoying now as neither myself
or my son can find out what to do. any help is appreciated thank you.

its very important that you didn't use random info as it is virtually impossible to validate who you are

Hi my son had exactly the same problem, we went through the loop several times. My advice try another device to log in and perform the verification. I logged in via Windows Mobile and it asked me if I wanted to transfer to 50p to my sons account, once
this was completed he could sign in again.

Now for the second problem, we cant get any of his games to load, tried multiple times no joy. There is a queued download for XBox original avatars that appears to have hung completely - been on for hour with a 0% downloaded indicator. As my son told me
there were updates happening I can only wonder if something failed to execute correctly with very negative results.

Will as soon as possible leave this mayhem Microsoft constantly exposing us to. I had enough of this consistent mess - what’s wrong with plug in the console and simply play?

Hello, This happen when your ID or Password is not valid. Please try this :

The Microsoft account (Windows Live ID) associated with this acount is not valid fix:

When you get the “Windows Live ID associated with this account is not valid” error, select Change Windows Live ID.
Select Continue.
Type the email address of the Microsoft account (Windows Live ID) that you want to associate with your gamertag.
Type the password that is associated with this Windows Live ID.
Confirm that the Microsoft account information is correct.
Accept the Xbox LIVE Terms of Use and Privacy Statement. If you select Decline, your changes will not be made.
Complete the changes and then return to the Xbox dashboard.
Sign in to Xbox LIVE with your gamertag.

If you still can’t sign in, contact Xbox Support. See the Assistance section at the bottom of this page for more information.

The tag you request may not show as a valid id on live but it the tag may have been used for GFWL, Zune or any number of other Microsoft projects that have going on.
