V1 and Inactive gamertags

Will there ever be a reset for tags that are banned or inactive? If not, will there be a new way of creating a gamertag that everyone wants?

Gamertag system is a failure.

I've been waiting for a gamertag that is a V1 (original xbox gamertag) it is over 7 years inactive

 

Original gamertag is inaccessible & GLITCHED due to a inactive spaced version

Inactive spaced gamertags should be removed and released. They are inactive, 100 percent inactive place holding gamertags.

 

Sadly, no. Microsoft does not own them so they cant be removed. Only the owner of the account can.

 

The sale of Gamertags is why.....

Gamer Tags have indeed been reset before--- With bad results.

Much like real life, wanting what someone else has is human nature. Move on and make a name for yourself instead on dewlling on what you don't have.....
