    V-sync and reducing input lag


    Okay, so I've tried to see if it was possible to remove v-sync as I couldn't turn on the option allowing the auto-latency mode. In addition, my TV doesn't have a game mode. I've consulted this with an expert and they said that the developers prevented it
    so that we couldn't access the game data (as a means of an anti-cheat or something). So, I was wondering if there was any other way to reduce input lag or, better yet, turn off v-sync for my console.

    To be specific, I want to reduce input lag for video games that include Hyperscape, Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Monster Hunter World.

    You may also want to go with a 120hz hdtv to reduce motion blur and input lag

    It could be input lag caused by your TV's settings. Turn of any extra processing, like edge enhancement, adaptive contrast, etc, etc. If it is input lag, it can be greatly reduced by adjusting your picture properly.

    MCFI reduces motion blur and it’s disabled in game mode. So the motion performance drop to 60Hz equivalent (~300 lines).
