To set your expectations properly, all the completed purchases on the accountis saved to your Order history. Please verfiy the redemption of V-bucks code by going to https://account.microsoft.com>; Order history.

If you see the V-bucks there it means your redemption was successful.

And to check it in-game please sign out your account.

Relaunch the game and then sign in.

Kindly check it inside your game because in-currencies will be added there.

If incase the V-bucks is still not there, kindly give it 24 hours in order for the in-game currency to be added to the game. This will give time for the V-bucks code redemption to sync to the account.

To set your expectations properly, the V-Bucks redemption is tied to the Epic Games account linked to the Fortnite display name. If your Xbox system settings show your fiancé's email, it is possible the V-Bucks were redeemed to his account instead.

Kindly check the purchase history on both Epic Games accounts to confirm where the V-Bucks went.

Epic support would like to confirm whether you have redeemed the secondary code on the correct Microsoft account.

Login to Epic account

Then go to transaction > V-bucks Card Redemption from the drop down menu

That will allow you to see the v-bucks card redeemed on your account as well as the secondary code.

Login to the account that you see through your Epic account where you redeemed the secondary code at this link below and verify that the V-bucks shows as redeemed:

https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders

Let me know if you see it is redeemed on to the right account.
