    UWP Games "Fullscreen Mode" Complaint!


    When playing games from the Microsoft Store, whenever I scroll to the bottom of the screen the task-bar pops up and takes me out of the game I was playing... this is frustrating while playing FPS games as whenever I look down, the task-bar pops up and I'm
    unable to control my character. Removes all immersion from the game and leaves me completely defenseless to attacks if I'm playing online, which most of the time I am. Please can somebody offer me a viable solution that doesn't involve going into task manager
    and shutting down my task-bar all together, I shouldn't need to do this just to enjoy a game I purchased from your own store! If there is no solution to this, then listen to the entire Microsoft gaming community and MAKE a solution, it can't be that difficult.

    Native FullScreen Mode in UWP PC games

    Welcome to Xbox Community Forum. Thank you for sharing your concern with us today and we hope that all is well.

    We understand that you are looking forward to have all Universal Windows for PC games to have native full screen. Let us check on this together and sort this out in timely manner.

    We know how convenient it would be if the games were displayed in uniform/native full screen especially for variable refresh rates. However, Microsoft policy states that Universal Windows apps must have identical functionality of complement each other across devices. Some developers may code their app to be identical while other may choose to create complimentary apps. The same rule applies to games as this will depend to style, functions that the developer envisions the game to be published.

    We believe also that the gamer's plea should be addressed and have this feedback sent to the right people is what we can do for today.

    Kindly send your feedback to the game developer - you can find information specific to your game by going to the title’s product detail page in the Microsoft Store, or to the game developer’s website.

    Taskbar appearing in full screen (Windows 11)

    roblox does not have true fullscreen mode same as a lot of games these days, it is actually borderless even if you select fullscreen, so the task bar will always appear at the bottom if the mouse moves down there.

    xbox game pass pc graphics running hot on some games

    My gaming pc specs:

    msi mpg z390 gaming carbon pro ac

    i9 9900k 3.6oGHz

    32GB ram

    Gtx 1080Ti 11gb

    resolution 3840 x 2160 on Sony bravia HDR 55" tv.

    So Yesterday evening I somehow was able to play the game windowed fullscreen and temp stayed around 55c degrees. So Its when its in fullscreen mode where the problem is. Only thing is I accidently got it into windowed fullscreen mode so I have to figure
    out how to do that again!
