UWP apps unusable after I use my XBox controller

I finally found out what was causing the problem with this annoying selection box constantly moving all over the place on UWP apps like settings, the store, music player etc.

Whenever I use a controller (im using xbox) this white box appears around options which lets you use your controller as a mouse. I think it's called mouse-mode, but anyway the problem is even when I turn the controller off the selection box keeps moving to the left or right as if my joystick is stuck or something. All other apps are perfectly fine.

The only way to fix this is to restart my computer but as soon as I turn on my controller the mouse mode box thing appears and it's extremely frustrating using windows apps again. Picture shows the white box that I'm talking about. I also tried googling if you could disable controller in put for these apps but of course, you can't.

So, have you already, if possible, test another controller to see if this happens? And this move around only happens with windows apps, in-game this problem don't even happen?
