  1. Uverse cable says its my Xbox One

My picture starting lagging about 10 seconds, would come in for 2 seconds, then lag again. Started getting a HDCP error saying it was my service. Called Uverse, they came out replaced everything, all boxes, my router and even gave me a new HDMI cable and
nothing fixed it. We disconnected the Xbox from the cable box and went directly from cable box to TV and it works just fine. So basically i cant have my Uverse through my Xbox one?? Was working fine for about 8 months then started acting all funny and now
doesnt work at all.... Anyone else have this problem?? Going to have to get rid of Uverse or the Xbox??

Any help would be great, this has been extremely frustrating.

    :)

These were the steps I did, and now my Uverse appears to be working fine.

Start by having your Xbox Turned Off.

    1. Hold the power button of the Uverse box down for about 15 seconds so it will reset.

    2. Run a HDMI Cable directly from the Uverse Box to your TV.

    3. Go into the Uverse settings and modify the display and audio. I set mine to 1080i and my audio to digital. Since my setup and my xbox are configured the same way.

    4. Plug the Uverse box back into your Xbox One.

    5. Check all cables, I even noticed by power *** cable is REALLY wobbley.

    6. Power it one.

Have you tried to power cycle your console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds?

The forced reset fixed the sound and freezing issues I had. Thanks for the tip!
