    So, my DVR box that I have with Uverse decided to break the other day (it freezes after about 30 seconds, resets and repeats). The uverse tech said that because it was hooked up to my Xbox one that it "fried" the DVR box. Now, this makes no sense to be
    since the xbox was not plugged into the cable box and that the Xbox one was acting as the received. I asked them if I could plug the cable box into my received and they said that was fine since the Xbox one is the problem. Still makes no sense to me. Anyone
    else have a similar issue?

    Xbox does not wake up AT&T uverse

    When I power the system down ("Xbox power off"), after a few minutes the TV and uvers box go into sleep mode. When I power back on, the TV wakes up, but the uvers box will only wake up if I press the power button or "OK" on the uvers remote. Any ideas
    about how to fix this so that the xbox wakes up the uverse box? I have the silver uverse box. Thanks.

    Mine is doing the same thing! Was working fine this morning when I left for work, came home and it just kept freezing. plugged my cable box into the tv and it works fine. its the connection inside the one. that's all i can figure! Or hopefully there
    was an update that I'm unaware of. Either way I'm getting vary frustrated with this box!! No good games currently and nothing seems to be working the way it should!!

    Same thing is happening to me as of yesterday (night when I discovered it). I have Dishnetwork and it works fine when connected directly to my TV, but if I connect it through the XBox One Live/Recorded TV freezes every 10-20 seconds for 20-60 seconds (or
    thereabouts).

    Any solutions for using Xbox only to escape the uverse screensaver?

    my Xbox turns on my box, tv, and receiver just fine, but if I turn on, then play games / watch Netflix for six hours, the uverse box automatically goes into standby. This cannot be changed on the uverse box.

    we need a voice command to power on/off individual components, or at least some way to send the "ok" command to the cable box.

    I keep my cable box in a cabinet to hide it, so when this occurs, I have to find the remote AND open the cabinet to fix..

    These were the steps I did, and now my Uverse appears to be working fine.

    Start by having your Xbox Turned Off.

    1. Hold the power button of the Uverse box down for about 15 seconds so it will reset.

    2. Run a HDMI Cable directly from the Uverse Box to your TV.

    3. Go into the Uverse settings and modify the display and audio. I set mine to 1080i and my audio to digital. Since my setup and my xbox are configured the same way.

    4. Plug the Uverse box back into your Xbox One.

    5. Check all cables, I even noticed by power *** cable is REALLY wobbley.

    6. Power it one.
