    Hello!

    I just recently upgraded to Windows 8.1 on my desktop PC, and created a new Windows Live Account with a different email than the one I use to login to my Xbox Live profile. I want to be able to access my Xbox Live account features through my new Windows
    Live Account but cannot figure out how to switch the gamertag to the other Live Account or how to merge the 2 together.

    Please Help!

    I went to access the games store from Windows 8 and instead of linking to my existing Xbox Live account it made some generic one for me. I can't figure out how to link my existing xbox live account to my windows 8 installation. Can someone tell me how
    I can unlink this generic xbox live account and link my existing one to it instead? Thank you.

    Linking Xbox profile to ea account?

    Let me start over. I'm trying to link my Xbox live profile to my ea account on ea.com. My gamertag will not link to my account because I can't find the option to link it. The link above was to download the fight night demo and they could link together there
    but the fight night servers are closed. I still can't figure it out!

    Hey mate, the last I knew I don't think there is a way to change your email on the Xbox One console (I could be wrong though as it has been a while since this was the case) you also cannot merge gamertags or emails.

    So I think until the option becomes available you have to live with what you've got.

    Unfortunately there is no way to merge to accounts. But you can add your new email address to your existing live account.

    Easiest way is to add your new email address to the Microsoft account where your gamertag is bounded to. Then set this email address as primary address there. Before you can set it as primary email address you have to delete your new live account of course.
    You will then be able to log in to your pc and to your Xbox with the new primary email address.

    You can do this at: http://account.live.com

    Like Bob said there is no way to merge two Microsoft accounts together but if you have an existing email that is not related to Microsoft or you want to create a new Microsoft alias, you can follow the steps on this page

    support.xbox.com/.../change-email-sign-in-for-microsoft-account

    Now to change the Live/Microsoft account you used for your Windows PC to the one you are using for your xbox one console you will have to contact Windows PC support for that because Xbox support would not be able to change that.
