Discus and support Using xbox to stream TV in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Looks like you can access a wifi router to stream TV with some of the xboxes - or can all current models do this?     Using xbox to stream TV


    Looks like you can access a wifi router to stream TV with some of the xboxes - or can all current models do this? I dont mean cable/fios TV, but I mean netflix, hulu, amazone prime, etc - the streaming tv services.

    Also, can this be done using an older TV without an HDMI connecter, just the old coax and aux connectors?

    And will the xbox downsample the HD signal to SD?

    Streaming live TV to windows 10 PC - Has this been disabled?

    I assume you are using the Xbox TV tuner, not HDMI-IN.

    It could be a bug as you are supposed to stream TV I believe when you use the Xbox tuner.

    All Xbox One models can do this, if there is an app available in the store. You need a TV with a hdmi connector, otherwise you won't be able to watch it.

    Yeah, it basically means someone can watch TV (using a different source) while you use your Xbox by streaming. Not using TV through the Xbox.

    I want to use the xbox for streaming to a PC only. So it will be in a cupboard, with power and network, but no TV connected. I will just use it for streaming, obviously I want to see what I am streaming on the PC.
