Using Xbox One HDMI cable on Xbox 360

Hello, I'm an owner of an Xbox One & an Xbox 360 and recently my 360's HDMI cable broke, I was wondering if instead of buying a new cable, could I use the One's cable on my 360? Is it compatible?

    :)

Have you tried using the HDMI cable you're using with your 360 and using it on your Xbox One? You may just have a faulty HDMI cable.

How to play Xbox 360 and other consoles through xbox one!

This is a tutorial how to play your xbox 360 and other consoles through xbox one.

    1. Plug your HDMI cable into your 360 and the xbox one HDMI in(Were you plug your TV cable in).

    2. Turn your 360 on, Click the TV app on the xbox one and your xbox 360 should start up.

    3. Now have fun you can now play your 360 through your xbox one, you can also use the snap feature with it.

This also works with anything HDMI Compatible

    No Audio

Why not disconnect your Xbox One HDMI cable from the Xbox One and plug it instead into your Xbox 360. If you get sound from your 360 you will know its not the HDMI cable or Receiver settings.

Transfer videos from 360 to xbox one

At the moment there is no way to transfer the videos to the Xbox One. However, you can connect your 360 through the Xbox One using a HDMI cable and then access the 360 using the Xbox Go To TV command.

use a HDMI cable connect the xbox to the monitor.

You can also use a HDMI to DVI cable as well.

Go into your console settings menu on the Xbox 360 to switch resolutions. The Xbox 360 uses 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p resolutions. If the monitor is not compatible with all resolutions, switch your Xbox 360's resolution to one that is compatible
with your monitor's capabilities. use the audio out on your Xbox 360 to connect to a stereo or other source for sound.
