Using Xbox One Companion App - Does it is use up your data allowance for the month?

it would be a small amount basically, the app only display information from the net like the store, cheevos and friends lists etc.

the bulk of the streaming is done over the local network which wont account to your usage.

you can go into network settings on the computer and set "this is a metered connection" to on and stipulate how much the pc can use online.

There is not an option for push to talk on the xbox companion app on pc.

Does anyone know of any software for Windows 10 that will allow PTT while using the Xbox console companion?

Ark Survival Evolved does allow Cross-play with PC and Xbox consoles. I used my PC to host a dedicated server for about 2 months for me and a bunch of friends to play together on our own server. We all connected to the server from our Xbox consoles. Do you
have the Xbox Console Companion on your PC?

I ran Ark through this program and was able to invite my Xbox friends to it much easier. It also allowed my friends to add the server as a friend and jump in whenever they wanted. If you do not Plan on using the Xbox companion app
on your PC, you can always host your server and give your Xbox friend the server name and password that you create and they can go in to "Join an Ark" then filter the servers shown to quickly find yours and join it.

Which Phone are you using ? There is an issue with HTC Phones that you cant have a Data-Connection and a Wireless-Connection at the same time ....

use xbox companion app, that allows custom images as that is what i use all the time.
