Using Xbox app to sign into Xbox console

Hello,

I am trying to use the Xbox app on my phone to turn on and sign into my Xbox Series X console without using my Xbox controller.

I am able to turn on the console using the app, but I get a message saying "Sorry use a controller to sign in".

Is there any way I can turn on and sign in to my Xbox Series X console without using the controller?

You need a controller connected to your phone in order to use or sign in with a profile on the console

Hi Robertson, What version of the Xbox App are you using? When you say your not able to sign is the Xbox App not signing in to your profile or is it your console not signing in to Xbox Live?

No only the ultimate account can roam

HOWEVER you aren't doing it right.

Home console only applies to consoles not pc

.however you can use the ultimate account to sign into the xbox app and download the games

.then sign out of the xbox App and sign in with the non ultimate account on the xbox app
