    Using two consoles sharing xbox live at the same time??


    Hi all,

    have just purchased another xbox one s for my other son. First son has xbox live account.

    Whenever oneson logs onto xboxlive it logs the other one out, I've got the first console set to home. I've set the second son onto my account under a new username.

    What am I doing wrong or is it possible for them to use xbox live at the same time using the one account or do I need to set up an completely new xbox account on the new console.

    With two consoles it is best to have two live subscriptions. Sharing is used for everyone using the same console.

    You can't share across two consoles. The sharing feature is for those using the same console.

    Sure. If you get access with the profile where you bought xbox live gold on any console you have you can use that xbox live gold. You can share with a friend also using "This is my xbox home", a function that permit you to use your subscriptions like
    xbox live gold (only one subscription for two people and two consoles) using two consoles in the same time (also with the same game)

    Unfortunately you can not share the same Xbox account on two consoles at the same time. For both of you to play on two different consoles at the same time would require two different accounts. It doesn't cost anything to create an account for Xbox Live.
    However, it will cost BOTH accounts to have Gold subscriptions.

    Two accounts can share Xbox Live Gold. In addition, an account can only be used on one console at a time. If you sign in with the same account on another console, the previous console will sign out.
