    Using too much bandwidth


    I own almost 90 X1 games and began having issues with auto updates using too much bandwidth. This was creating additional charges from my ISP. To solve the issue I had to change my settings to energy saving mode. This of course made it so I can't use voice
    commands to turn on my system and must wait a little when I turn the console on but at least I was able to avoid the overage charges.

    After downloading the latest system update yesterday my system now automatically downloads the updates no matter what when I turn the system on. Now obviously I am not going to be playing all 90 games regularly so why would I want to pay as much as $50 a
    month just to keep these games updated?

    This system is quickly becoming more trouble than it is worth. The Live service is down almost as much as it's working, the console does things on its own that cost me extra money, and all of the updates seem to just add more useless features rather than
    resolve the current problems.

    Can't download profile to console

    I had a similar issue earlier, turned out I was using too much bandwidth with my laptop. Do you have any computers running or maybe another Xbox running?

    Bandwidth question?

    I'm trying to decide whether I want to go digital or not because of the recent revelation of Forza 5 digital deluxe edition. I'm sure there will still be games I buy on disc, but for the ones I know I'll keep, I want to go digital. However, I'm just worried
    about using too much bandwidth in a given month and was wondering if anyone knows how much bandwidth would say a 40GB download take up? I'm not too savvy when it comes to this. If it's a 40 GB game, would it use 40GB in bandwidth usage?

    Well I figured out what the issue was. It was not actually updating games it was downloading the entire game. My neighbor had his profile on my console for some time now but only got his X1 today. He got the AC unity bundle along with a few other games and
    I assume because his profile is on my console it automatically downloaded them to mine as well.

    Hi Giovanni, this problem might be caused from too much traffic or bandwidth on your network, try turning off some things that use wifi or connect to an alternative WiFi connection.

    Other large bandwidth users are limiting quality to reduce the demand on networks. Hopefully doesn’t last too much longer
