1. Using the "HDMI in" Port for Xbox 360

To start with. The Xbox One comes with an HDMI in for use with your cable box, so you can easily swith between TV and other Apps. This is very nice feature when it is utilized, but not every Xbox One is going to need to toggle to and from TV so effortlessly.
Which made me come to my first thought. "If it's not used for TV, can it be used for other HDMI devices?" Short answer. Yes. After reading posts throughout the internet, I found this to be a common thought among other Xbox One owners. Playing other
games through the Xbox One's TV app is functional to a point, but it's not 100% accurate. From my personal experience, it seems there is an issue with higher frame-rate games that causes a noticable delay in controller inputs.(I've tested this with Xbox 360
and PC games) There could be other issues causing the delay that I'm unaware of as well. So this has has lead me to an idea, or well it's more of a question. Would it be useful for Xbox One to have an app that is specificly used to play the Xbox
360 through it's HDMI in? While this might sound pointless to spend resources on, I've got a few ideas that would improve it from just using the TV app. (If it can be done.) The Xbox One could be able to communicate with your 360. Launch the app on
your Xbox One and It'll turn your 360 on. Don't want to use your old 360 cotroller. You wouldn't need to if The Xbox One's controller input was sent to your 360 via the Xbox One's 360 app. Close the App, and it turns your 360 off. I have put some thought into
it. Also, pressing the Home button on your One controller would bring up the 360 navigation menu.(The same thing that would happen If you were to press the Xbox button on a 360 controller.) Some of you may think "How will you return to the home menu if the
controller is being used on the 360 now?" You would have three options.(Only one without kinect) First. Simply say. "Xbox, go home" and all control is restored to the Xbox One. Second. Use Kinect hand gestures to return home. Third. This one would require
a little bit work to get functioning, but it's all I could think of for now. Normaly on a 360 if you hold the Xbox button down, you get the option to turn off console or controller. While using the 360 app for Xbox One, holding down the middle button on your
One controller would bring up the "What do you want to turn off" options. If you were using the 360 app (or any other app) There could be a third option there called "Return home" Which after clicking that, it would return you to your home menu, and from there
you can do what you want on your One again. And that is all I've got so far. There are still a few roadblocks to figure out before this is a solid idea, but that's why I'm here posting this. I would like others input about it. The problems
I can forsee right now are. How Party chat could work. Multiple Controllers and how to assign them a slot, and the frame-rate issue. That about wraps it up. One last thing though, for the people that are still reading this. I'm sorry. I've typed this
up on my Xbox One, and I have no idea how to Line Break. Thanks for reading all this though, and be sure to give some feedback please!

:)

Headset Adapter for the 360
[Does exactly what is talking about]
Well, not exactly. Using the AV port requires that the adapter be pinned properly to tell the 360 to use HDMI for video. Using a digital to analog converter removes
the situation where a manfuacturer gets the video source pinning wrong.
It took third parties long enough to finally put out an option. I guess
they didn't see a need while the original HDMI AV kit was available.

Best settings for my TV?
Sounds like you have input lag/motion blur issues. Did you plug your Pro 360/silver HDMI into the same port that the Slim 360 was in when you tested it out, or was it another HDMI port? I'm guessing it's simply display settings on your HDMI input. You should
check out what picture settings you used for the Pro 360/silver HDMI and replicate them on the other HDMI input. Either that or you could switch the HDMI cable to the other HDMI port and see if you get the results you're looking for.
I had the Slim Xbox in HDMI port 1 and the Pro Xbox in HDMI port 2. I wasn't aware that the settings could be different on each port. Thanks for letting me know, I will check that out and see what is different on both
Ports.

Original Xbox won't display sound or video

Then you use HDMI cable.(Not all original xbox 360 consoles have a HDMI port)So better check for a HDMI port at the back of the xbox.

No video or Audio using HDMI

It's possible the HDMI port is starting to fail on your 360.

Does your tv have more than 1 HDMI port? Which Xbox system are you using?

Xbox One and Xbox 360 on the same TV?

You can either plug in each console into a different HDMI port (or whatever you are using) on your TV or run your 360 through your HDMI port on your Xbox One.
