Using same server

My husband and I play Friday the 13th on separate Xbox one consoles but we use the same WiFi connection. My Xbox is ran through the Ethernet wire, while my husband's is ran through WiFi, some days it allows my husband or myself to host a private match and
we can join off of each other but majority of the other days we have to wait till our group of friends are on so they can host or we have to play with random people in order for us to play together. Is there a resolution to this problem or is this another
issue Friday the 13th is having and it's not yet corrected.

The issue is most likely with your networking hardware, as some routers do not allow multiple Xbox One connections. To start out, can you share the make and model of your network hardware? Also, if you haven't already, be sure to enable UPNP if it's available
with your router.

yes it could be a fault with your Nat type I had same issue with me and a friend at my house check with your internet provider or the game website
