    Using redeemed gold membership codes.


    Hi,

    I have been struggling for days to redeem and use several Xbox gold membership codes, I have successfully entered the codes, 2x 1 month Xbox gold memberships and 1x 2 day gold trial.

    But when I try to select them they are greyed-out and unclickable...

    To clarify, I believe I have "redeemed" the codes (they show up as the memberships that they are) but I cannot click on/use them, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I have just redeemed a gold membership pre paid code, but i still cant play online.When i go into manage account it still say's free membership.

    Please,please help,this is my first time using this an am cracking up.

    Create an additional profile on your xbox, skip the gold membership page and redeem your extra trial code on that profile, then sign that profile out and sign back in as your main profile.
    You'll then have access to your 2nd trial :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

    Once you redeem them they should already be added to your account so you wouldn't have to click on anything else to use them.

    The 2 day trial won't show you as gold, but will only give you access to some benefits of online multiplayer, so you would just have to try playing online to see if that one is working. If you added the monthly cards after that, those would have overwritten
    the 2 day trial since trials do not stack with gold subscriptions. If you check

    and it shows you have the subscription on your account, try signing out and then back in on the console or try testing your connection and see if that helps it sync up. If not, you'll need to try contacting supoprt. 1-800-4my-xbox

    YES, Simply redeem the code on the card.

    That's it. No need for new accounts. Just redeem the gold membership code on the account you use.

    Did you have a Gold membership prior to redeeming the code? You're showing as having a Gold membership now.

    Also please don't forget it is not possible to use an Xbox Live Gold trial whilst you have an active gold membership. If you do have an active gold membership if you allow it to expire and you should then be able to redeem the code.

    Hey there Davie,

    It looks like you are showing as a Gold profile currently so I have a couple questions:

    1. Were you able to successfully redeem the code, or are you trying to redeem on top of your current membership?

    2. If redeeming on top of your current membership, what kind of membership are you on? (regular Gold, Entertainment for all, etc?)

    3. If you are on a regular Gold membership, how much Live time do you have stacked all together?
