    Hi, I have just redeemed $60 worth of codes and I can't buy a game with out the XBOX asking me for my payment info and credit card number. Is there a way out of this or do I have to follow through and then the codes will work.

    Need help redeeming my xbox live code

    I tried redeeming the code in my browser on my computer using these instructions, big mistake. It said "thank you, you redeemed your code" and then exited me out. No gamertag registration whatsoever. I thought the whole point of redeeming my code was to create a gamer tag, but no just exits me out. I then tried redeeming my code on my xbox (so that I could create the gamer tag) and it said "sorry, code already redeemed."

    so what the... what do I do now?

    the codes i had yesterday would not work. i assume you simply redeem them on the marketplace "redeem code" section

    It's been used. They are a one time code. Sadly, the only way to guarantee a code that comes with a game is good is to buy it new.

    Sadly as already mentioned, no. If they guaranteed the code to work you may want to talk to them again. However if you bough the game used and the code was already redeemed by the previous owner there is nothing that can be done.
