    hello im currently based in the philippines and im having difficulty in registering my credit and debit card at xbox live store just because my cards are registered in the philippines and im wondering is the xbox store using singapore local dollar currency?

    I imagine every game shop knows you can`t use xbox currency to buy gold time and should not be misleading you.

    If you are buying from a different kind of store,like a supermarket, its unlikely they will know.

    At every retail place I shop at, if they sell MS points/currency, they also sell 12 MO. Xbox Live Gold cards.

    That's because philipines isn't an xbox live region

    You cannot use an credit card from an non xbox live region to buy a subscription for an out of region account

    then why the hell they sell xbox one here in the philippines? i bought mine in a legit MS authorize retailer. bol$hit they don't care the filipinos buy their stuff and we are hundreds of thousands of us who bought this console and all we had from MS labeling
    us out of region. fack!

    What you are talking about is two separate things

    Disks doesn't garentee that you have digital content

    There is no philipines disks

    You have pal and you have NTSC and ntscj

    That's it

    However digital content Is completely different it is only available if your region is supported which Philippines isn't

    Now to add money to an us account you have to add a us credit card or a us currency as philippines currency cards don't exist nor are the credit card supported

    This does not solve region lock errors

    It is in local currency. Do local stores have currency cards? You can register a credit/debit card and use that otherwise.

    Sorry but no. A US currency card can only be used for a US based account as the currency will be listed in US funds and not your local currency.
