Using multiple headsets

I just bought 2 headsets for my kids for XBOX 360. My son logged into my Live account and he can hear the other person np but when my daughter logs in as live guest, she cannot hear anyone. Does everyone have to have a Live account in order to listen/talk
to anyone? TIA.

Headset sound pops at random.

My headset just pops at random while playing any game. I tried multiple solutions, none worked. I'm using a third party headset that works with any other device.

Where did the Party Chat Mixer go for Xbox One?

I have gone through multiple controllers at this point (a couple different brands of them aswell), and I just tried using another 3.5mm headset; the party chat mixer isn't there and both of my headsets seem to working. Looks like I'm bugged

The SIMPLE answer to your question is *YES* However, the more complicated answer is, while they will all work simultaneously, it really depends on the game they are playing and how they are playing it. If they are playing AGAINST each other, some games won't
let you hear or talk to players on the opposite team during gameplay. However, if they are playing a co-op game (meaning they are all on the same team), again depending on the game, they should all hear each other just fine!

Xbox LIVE does have a 'Party Chat' system though, and if they're all in the same Party, they will all hear each other simultanously all the time, even if they're in different games!

Is the second child invited to the party?

Also check in settings account, privacy & online safety, xbox live privacy, view & customise, communication & multiplayer to ensure they are allowed to party chat

Yes, when I go into Settings and Profile on my account it is set as the home console and says it allows others to use the games and xbox live etc. This works fine for the first child to sign in, he connects to games and chat with friends happily. When
the second child joins in though he cant then hear any chat (although can hear game play e.g. FIFA commentary). Doesthe second child need their own Xbox Live account, and if so does this need to be with them or can I just simply buy another subscription on
my account?

Similar to the first response, make sure the Xbox is setup as your Home Xbox so any user signed in gets the Gold benefit (and Gamepass/Digital Games). Then have each child sign in. Once both are signed in they should be able to join parties and hear the
chat. They will not be able to hear each other though, this is by design as the system assumes you are right next to each other and can hear without the mics so it avoids the "echo" conversation.

You may also want to check their Child settings on Xbox.com in case one of the options there may be restricting one of the child accounts.
