Using mobile hotspot for online?

Sometimes a hotspot can be a workaround but sadly it's not the best option for gaming as it doesn't offer the best network structure. I hope these steps below give you a solution.

Clean your console's MAC and restart your internet devices.
Network Settings> Advanced Settings> MAC Address and Clear.

If the problems persists reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.
In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

To reset the console>
Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

If the problem still persists, you may need to do port forwarding. On this link you have more details about the ports, you need to talk to your ISP and maybe this is not possible on your hotspot device.

hotspots using mobile data are not generally the best for gaming online, they can have good speeds but have extremely erratic ping so latency can usually cause big issues. also they don't play nice with some services due to port issues.

Also forgot to mention when the can't connect to internet happens I'm given an option to set up network or cancel, how do I set up network

This is where I'm torn cause the actual wifi I have is definitely fast but has pong like no other I bounce every where and I was hoping hotspot might help. It won't help at all if I can't even get it to connect to my hotspot
