    Using Microsoft Xbox account to sign in to games on Android


    The usage of different sign in options is quite common sign in with Google, sign in with Facebook, and recently sign in with Apple as well as sign in with Twitter.

    so why didn't Microsoft follow suit to create sign in with Microsoft to sign in to different apps, And for games using the Xbox account as Google play games alternative to sign in to games and save progress, also there's the galaxy game launcher that could be integrated with it since Samsung and Microsoft are currently collaborating.

    it will be an amazing option since many games have both PC and phone versions for example Albion online could be played on both platforms.

    Also many people are trying to not give all data to Google for privacy concerns, but when it comes to major services like auto sign in there's few to use on Android at least.

    There's an existing example of that in games made by Microsoft like sudoku and mahjong by Microsoft, where signing in using Microsoft leads you to Xbox data where the account sync with your Xbox.

    You should be able to play the games on your android phone AS LONG as you are signed into the same Microsoft account as your sons Xbox.

    You'll want to download and use the Xbox App for Android. From there you can change your Microsoft Account, and it should reflect that change in the Xbox Live enabled games on Android (Age of Empires, Wordament, Minecraft, Solitaire, etc). You can sign
    out and switch accounts in Settings in the Xbox App.
