    Using Microsoft Live with multiple xbox systems


    Looking for help / understanding on if / how you can use the same Microsoft Live account (mine) to allow my son to play on his XBOX system (example FIFA online) while I play a game "offline" myself.

    To get online he logs in with my profile then his profile and starts playing.

    When I start my Xbox system, I'm asked to sign here (instead of other device) which "boots" him off his online FIFA game. He can only continue offline. Oddly enough if he tries playing other sports games such as NBA 2K and NFL it "sometimes" let's him play.

    Wondering if that's by design i.e. we'll need to buy to separate Microsoft Live memberships (one for me and one for him) or if there's a setting we can set to "Share" with him?

    Hi,

    I'm not entirely sure what your question is, can you please elaborate?

    Steam and Xbox are two separate systems. To play a Steam game you'll need to be signed in with your Steam account on the Steam app. If you have any games that use Xbox Live, you'll need to sign in to those with your Microsoft account in-game.

    Since Xbox Live is free on PC, you can also use multiple accounts, but not at the same time.

    Maybe if we all spam Microsoft's Feedback system asking them to add support for recording system sounds or even just multiple applications. (I'm using Windows 10 with Xbox support if what i'm saying is strange for Xbox users)
