Using Mac and an El Gato Capture Card HD w/ party chat?

I have recently bought an El Gato Capture card HD. Not the HD60. I plugged it into my mac and downloaded the designated El Gato software. I have used the default settings and can not seem to get the party chat to be included in the stream or recordings.
I have changed the settings within my Xbox Display and Sound - Party Chat Output to "Headset & Speakers" like many of the tutorials have said but to no avail. Some ideas I have thought of so far is a faulty HDMI cable, old Xbox one (Bought when it first came
out), or the fact that the software simply does not work correctly with Macs. I have been on Microsoft forums, El Gato forums, and other misc ones looking for the answers. Hopefully, someone finds this and is able to help me. Thanks so much in advance for
any help you could provide!

You can download Windows 10 and run it through Bootcamp. That's what I do. Then you basically could just do all your streaming through that side like any other Windows computer. All you need is a USB flash drive to install. It could also be the cord itself
or the age of the MAC.

Are you using your PC with OBS to stream or the Xbox One console?
If on PC, Are you using the Xbox App?

I am using Xbox with El Gato capture card and El Gato Chat Link pro with OBS. Xbox doesn’t allow game chat or “hot mics” to be recorded. I’m ready to break up with XBOX!
