Using logitech f710 wireless gamepad on xbox 360

According to Logitech's website, this controller is compatible only with a PC.

I think it has the name "Xbox 360" because the action buttons are the same color as those of the Xbox 360

Hi!

Unfortunately the F710 controller is not compatible with X1, but only with PC because it needs specific drivers, as specified on the

manufacturer page.

This is a common issue with the F710's wireless function, and one of the recent updates has caused problems for some,

but you don't need to actually uninstall the driver.

You do want to be sure the drivers are installed though, so if you have not already, install the 64bit version of the XBOX 360 software.

It shouldn't be necessary with W10, but ....

(necessary if you want to make use of the DInput benefits)- Reboot after installing them.

Prt 2 - Open Device Manager, and set the input switch on the controller to
XInput and verify if is being detected in XBOX mode

(XBOX 360 Peripherals, bottom of list) .

If it is, click on Update Driver and Select theBrowser My Computer option.

Then click on the Let me pick... option.

Select a driver from the list that pops up (or more if you have more than one with the same date) and click install.

Reboot...

- I don't recall if it affects DIput separately, so you may also have to do the same in
Human Interface Devices (HID).

Switch the F710 to DInput mode and if you find the F710 listed in HID and the DInput mode is not working in games

run the same procedure with any F710 HID entries.
