Using Laptop mic with xbox one

Hey guys

Just wanted to know If I could use my laptop mic with my xbox one with the xbox app

So I just need to know if there is some way I could play the xbox on the app as well as having the laptop mic as my in game mic

X41 Mic Help

The Turtle Beach X41 mic chat randomly stopped working with my Xbox One.

Mic chat works fine on laptop and 360 chat.

I've replaced the chat adapter and still nothing.

Any help?

Chat moving from headset to laptop when streaming

Hoping some one can help me

when i start to stream to my laptop via the xbox app all chat only works through the laptop not my wireless headset. Major issue as the speakers and mic on my laptop are... well not working.... can anyone find me a way of me using my headset, this was fine
until the last update....

yeah if your have the xbox one app your can use party beta and talk to your friends and other players on Xbox

nope, best way is plug in mic on laptop and use xbox party chat via gamebar, then obs can use that, or you could just stream via the xbox.

yes, open gamebar and join your friends party and use the inbuilt mic on the laptop.

but there again just did a mic test on my laptop and the mic seems to be working...?? very frustrating!
