So is the Kinect Fun Labs a different scanner than the Kinect? Cause I'm not finding Fun Labs when I do a game search.

All codes are unique nor can they be read until activated that's why you cannot just tell someone the code

I think the best you could hope for is a detachable kinect that still comes with the machine, tho tbh i think after a few years the people who dislike the kinect may be won over "IF" Microsoft prove it is worth having and all those that have port scanners
etc show no unauthorised use.

The numbers don't mean a thing its the bars that count which cannot be read by you but only qr scanners
