  1. Using Internet Explorer to listen to your Google Play Music account

I don't know if this topic has been brought up or not but when I searched it didn't show anything. While playing online MP games like Titanfall I like to listen to my music. The easiest way for me to access all of my music right now is through Google Play
Music since I primarily use Android devices. I can access the site to listen to my music through any browser, including the Xbox One's Internet Explorer, and for the most part it works great! My only problems have to do with IE and the Snap feature specifically.
When I load up an album in Google Play Music through IE on XB1 it will play a few songs all the way through without issue, but then it will start to cut the next song short and repeat it around 4 times before going to the next track. This seems to be a Java
error as I constantly get one when I initially load up GPM on IE. Google Play Music works on every other device I have flawlessly and works most of the time on the Xbox One. I understand that GPM is owned by Google and Microsoft really has no say in how their
site runs, but if it runs on other IE devices why can't it run as good on the Xbox One IE? I've been surprised by how many sites I can get to actually load on the Xbox One IE compared to the X360 IE. My other gripe is kinda in the same ballpark as I listen
to music using the above mentioned method through the snap feature on Xbox One. The BIG problem with that is I'm listening to music yet I need to have 25% of my screen taken up by something that should just be able to run in the background. This goes for all
snap apps, why can't we minimize them to the side?! Here's where my question comes in, how can we get GPM to work with Xbox One IE flawlessly and how do we minimize snapped content without closing it?

    :)

  2. Simple question about Media player preview

I'm not sure about the media player as I haven't tried using it, but one trick I use to listen to music is to snap Internet Explorer while using Pandora to listen to music while playing games. YMMV

go to the Google Music website, go to settings, enable HTML5 Audio. but it'll only play music while Internet Explorer is open or snapped.

How did you get it to play? I'm ok with it being snapped if that's what it takes. I keep getting a flash update is required for my music to play. I go there and of course there is no update available. Smh

Google Play Music on Xbox One

The only way that might work is thru Internet Explorer on X1. Try going to the Google music web site, sign in with your account and give it a try.

    Xbox One's missing functions

You can listen to music from the Amazon Cloud Player in internet Explorer while it is snapped to the side of the screen.

If you are playing a digital game you can snap the audiocd player and listen to music while you are playing.

Sadly this does mean you have to give up a quarter of your screen.
