Using gift cards and a credit card for a purchase

To pay the rest of a purchase with a credit card and a gift card, you will need to make the purchase using the gift card first. Here is a general guide on how to do this:

Add the items you want to purchase to your shopping cart.

At checkout, select the gift card as your payment method.

Enter the gift card information and apply it to your purchase.

If the gift card does not cover the full amount of the purchase, you will be prompted to pay the remainder using another payment method. Select the credit card as the payment method and enter the credit card information.

Review your order and confirm the payment.

If you are unable to see the option to pay the rest with a credit card, it is possible that the gift card does not have enough balance to cover the full amount of the purchase. In this case, you may need to add another gift card or use a different payment method to pay the remainder.

The prepaid gift cards can only be used to purchase content for the Xbox. Gold can only be purchased with a credit card/Paypal or by purchasing a prepaid gold card.

There is not a way to split payment between two credit cards. what you can do is purchase a xbox gift card with one of the credit cards put that xbox gift card onto the account then you would be able to split the payment between the gift card balance choose
this first as the first option that you want to use to pay then it will ask you how you want to pay the difference and then you can use the other credit card.
