    Using German Xbox One in Thailand and connecting to Live-Account


    Several times a year I stay for longer time in Thailand. Since my last stay I think about to take my Xbox One with me to Thailand. But for that I have some questions:

    1. I think the games I owned on BluRay can be played on my console in Thailand. But is this possible with the downloaded games too?
    2. Can I connect my Xbox One from Thailand with my Live account from Germany? Is it possible to have access to the saved games?
    3. How is it, if I buy a second Xbox One. Better an European model or an Asian one?
    4. Is it with an Asian one possible to connect to my Live-Account?
    5. And finally, is it possible to use Xbox Live Gold from Thailand?
    I am thankful for every help an answer which keep me going on to play in every this two countries.

    Is XBOX ONE Game On Demand also Region Free?

    I live in Bangkok, Thailand ,and have heard that XBOX ONE would have no region restrictions, does it mean that I would be able to purchase all the XBOX ONE games available online regardless of the physical location (e.g. Purchasing Halo 5 from Bangkok, using
    Thailand Region Xbox Live account ?)

    Why can't I choose Thailand as a location?

    I purchased an Xbox One in Dubai. I want to use it in Laos. My credit card is linked to a bank account in Thailand. When setting up the Xbox you have to choose a location. But Thailand is not included in the list of countries. Why not and what can I do to
    be able to purchase games using my credit card from Thailand?

    Regarding the use of live services, Thailand is not support by xbox live service and naturally most of the service perks are not available in that country:

    www.xbox.com/.../countries

    As for the use of the console itself you can use it normally for Thailand uses the same voltage as Germany (220 V system)

    Hi Kanji,

    So you are located in Thailand? Unfortunately, Thailand is not a supported Xbox Live region, therefore, Xbox Live will most likely not work, and is not support by us.

    I also took a look at your account, and it shows your account region as being in France, which would also cause connection problems.

    Xbox one - wrong location

    The movies do show up, they did before i migrated the xbox live account to thailand (it was US previously) and they do now after migrating it to Thailand, the Xbox itself is set to the US.

    No matter how I switch it around, it won't work:

    US account - US settings in console -> doesn't work - you can't stream outside the country that your xbox live account is set to.

    Thailand account - US settings in console -> doesn't work, your xbox live location settings do not match the console settings - can't change console location settings, no thailand in the location settings selectable.

    Unfortunately Thailand is not supported by Live so you would be unable to use a Thailand credit card.

    2 gamertags in 2 different regions how to Download Maps

    - playing a dlc is different from downloading a mappack

    as long as the dlc was originally on your hd before being connected

    - as long as you remain connected to live you can use the content on the usb or the hd

    this does mean that the UK account has to be signed in at all times on the german console

    the german gamertag cannot use the content but can be signed in as a guest account
